Readers may recall that Bollywood Hungama had reported about the stunning Urvashi Rautela grooving to the remix of yesteryear’s hit track ‘Saara Zamana’ in Kaabil. This time round, we bring you some more details about the much talked about song, that was originally picturised on the legendary Amitabh Bachchan in the film Yaarana, and was sung by the eternally evergreen singer (late) Kishore Kumar.
Speaking about shooting the remix of ‘Saara Zamana’ remix in Kaabil, its director Sanjay Gupta said, “In our version, the song will be sung by a female playback singer and picturised in the most ostentatious and imaginative way on Urvashi Rautela. Those who recall Mr. Bachchan’s outfit in the song, will remember that his outfit had countless light bulbs on it. And even today when you watch it play it has that jaw-dropping effect. Not to be left out, we are attempting something close. On the weekend, we had booked every single light that was available for shooting to create a similar impact on our set at Filmistan Studios. A huge dome was erected and Urvashi sizzled like never before.”
Echoing his sentiments was the film’s producer Rakesh Roshan, who said, “The ‘Saara Zamaana’ set was breathtaking with lights everywhere, an extravagant dance set! But when Urvashi walked in, her grace, poise and energy lit the set up more than the lights and she recreated the magic of the song effortlessly. Urvashi was nervous as hell to enact a song that had in the past been shot on the iconic Mr. Bachchan. However, she gave it her all and I can tell you that the end result will blow people’s mind away. It is my gut that people will be tripping on this song at night clubs and private parties through the party season of 2016-2017.”
Besides Hrithik Roshan, Kaabil stars Yami Gautam as the female lead. The film is all set to release on 26 January next year.

Also Urvashi Rautela was super excited to be a apart of Hrithik Roshan‘s Kaabil. While talking to an entertainment portal Urvashi said, ” Hrithik felt that I am perfect for Saara Zamana. He inspired and motivated me a lot. I was not nervous coz I knew that I am a part of a big song, and I have Hrithik and Rakesh sirs ( Rakesh Roshan) support. So it was very easy. There was a lot of prep involved, but I finished the rehearsals in one day.”
The actress also revealed the precious tips she got from Hrithik while shooting for the song, “He is been so inspiring behind the scenes.” She also couldn’t stop gushing about the star and said, “I still remember Ek pal ka jeena from his debut film Kaho Naa.Pyaar Hai (she did his hook step). If you play that song, I will start dancing, I so love that song.
