Yamazaki Barrels
Taken at Suntory Yamazaki distillery. First high quality single malt distillery in Japan; founded in 1924. It took a few years before they could manage to make good whiskey. Lately Suntory Yamazaky is highly regarded and won a string of international prizes. Very good guided tours + tasting available on spot. Only wish there was more time to take pictures of the distillery. It is also possible to taste the best whiskies of the world and local productions unavailable anywhere else in the world for very decent prices [e.g. 30 years old whiskies for around 5$, excellent single malt special production for 3$]. It is hard to get out of there sober ..
